OMG NICE! *envies*

tips:
- know answers to common questions (tell me about yourself, strengths/weaknesses, examples of when you worked as a team, examples of problem solving, short&long term goals, all that stuff)
- research the company (i know, aren't these obvious tips? ;)
- KNOW YOUR RESUME... (i did once get a question "Take me through your resume", and that was the interview... needless to say i failed)
- show your interest
- be yourself... you're good enough to not have to lie about who you are
- try to get them to like you... if you can make them laugh, that's always good (i can't =( )
- don't be late

....u two are the most unhelpful ppl ever.

thanks lisa. how do u research the company, other than just browsing their websites? and how do u feed ur knowledge back into the interview in the end?

lol show interest...good examples?

lateness always an issue :P

how do u research the company, other than just browsing their websites?

>> browsing website pretty important (a lot of companies expect you to show that you know something about them - mayur back me up on this: about 1/2?) you could also talk to people who worked there I guess... and um, I don't know why but I've got a friend who always tries to look up whether the interviewer has an SOA/CAS designation (can do that through their website). also know some of their products (whole life, universal life, all that junk)

and how do u feed ur knowledge back into the interview in the end?

>> some people like to ask "what do you know about our company?". that's a great opportunity to show that you've done research. some people, however, decide to repeat everything that's online. i guess good thing to do in either case is prepare some questions about them that showed research.

lol show interest...good examples?

>> asking good questions. putting on the "listening face". i read somewhere that it's a good thing if your interviewer starts ranting about his own experience or about the field, and you shouldn't interrupt. overall be excited and enjoy the chance to chat with someone in the field! obviously don't sound like you're reading off a sheet of paper, but I recall you're a pro at that

YES, ENJOY IT!!! (i'm not being sarcastic)

But um, I guess I should add to the fine print that I the responsibilitiy is not mine if what I said here screws you over in any way, shape, or form. I'm not the pro (Mayur is) XP

good luck, and let us know how it goes tomorrow!

how can you ACTUALLY know 1/2 about a company?

either way, I'm sure you'll do fine. I am trying to be helpful when I say just be yourself, btw.

i mean, half of the companies asks you about what you know about their company...

it's higher than that if that's what you meant.
